SAFETY
Protective and reassuring. With its tire pressure sensors and daytime running lights (DRL) – a world first on a scooter! – its aspheric mirrors without dead angle, its ABS braking and its front axle resulting from automotive technology, the Peugeot Metropolis plays security, without concession.
Tires under high control
To combine comfort and safety, the vehicle is equipped with a tire pressure sensor and a visible indicator in the LCD display of the driving position.
Aspherical mirrors
Thanks to their convex mirror, the blind spot disappears. A very useful equipment during overtaking or in heavy traffic.
Front Dual Tilting Wheels (DTW)
A pure concentrate of technology, the DTW front axle provides exceptional handling and stability, allowing the new Peugeot 400i LFE engine to unleash its full potential.
Daylighting
Peugeot Metropolis is the only 3-wheel scooter to be equipped with Daytime Running Light (DRL) technology: 5 powerful LEDs on the front-end shoe that work by day and improve visibility in traffic. It also incorporates two 2 x 55 W halogen bulbs and LEDs in remote flashers and optics. An unusual light design.
ABS braking
Based on a Nissin solution for calipers and a Continental solution for the ABS module, Peugeot Metropolis’ new ABS braking strengthens an already efficient system with a 23% gain over the stopping distance at 50 km / h compared to the solution. SBC (Synchro Braking Concept).
Warning lights on emergency braking
With its know-how in the automotive world, Peugeot Motocycles is the first manufacturer in the world to equip a vehicle with this device.
Active when speed is greater than 50km / h, the system activates warnings if your vehicle has a deceleration greater than 6m.s-2 and off when deceleration is less than 2.5ms-2.
Traction Control System (TCS)
Adjustable on 3 positions (Off / Urban / Sport), the driver customizes, by rolling, the service according to his driving style and conditions encountered. The Traction Control System is automatically in urban mode when the vehicle is started.
DESIGN

A simple press of the finger on the control located in the center of the handlebar makes it possible to block the rear wheel of the scooter during a parking or a stopping in hill.
